The German Chancellor blamed on Russia.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel urged Russia to respond to legitimate questions of the British government concerning the poisoning of ex-GRU Colonel Sergei Skripal. About this on their page Twitter wrote the press Secretary of Merkel, Steffen Seibert.
“The Chancellor strongly condemned the attack, she takes seriously the assessment of the British government on the issue of responsibility of Russia for the attack. Now Russia needs to answer the legitimate questions of the British government,” said Seibert.
Earlier on Monday, British Prime Minister Theresa may said that the poisoning nerve substance ex-GRU Colonel Sergei Skripal “with high probability” involved in Russia. She gave Russia a deadline until Tuesday night to provide detailed explanations, otherwise having promised to enter against the Russian Federation “more serious action” than before.
Wednesday will be a meeting of the British Council on national security on “case Skripal”, then Mei will set out in Parliament of the planned action against Russia.
