First Vice-President of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine Vladimir Brynzak said that the country temporarily renounces participation in any sports competition in Russia. The words of the functionary leads to “Sport-Express”.
“I met today with politicians, we had a long chat. In the end, they decided to refuse participation in tournaments held in Russia,” said project Manager brynzak.
For the lifting of the boycott it is necessary that “the overall political situation has improved”, and “the atmosphere has ceased to deteriorate,” he explained. “I want to change. So we came back to Russia in a fair fight won medals,” added project Manager brynzak.
Earlier, on 13 March, the head of the Ministry of youth and sports of Ukraine Ihor Zhdanov said that the national team of Ukraine on biathlon will take part in the ninth stage of the biathlon world Cup, which will be held in Tyumen.
